- To respond to your questions, tour requests, and volunteer inquiries.
- To share Gallery news, events, and appeals. You may opt out at any time.
- To meet our recordkeeping, accounting, and legal obligations.
We do not sell your information
We do not sell, rent, or trade donor or visitor information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate (for example payment processing, email delivery, and accounting), and only as needed to perform that work, or when required by law.
Donor anonymity and recognition
You may request that your gift remain anonymous, or that your name be omitted from donor listings, by contacting us before or after your donation. We will honor the request going forward.
Payment security
Online donations are processed by a third-party payment provider over an encrypted connection. Their handling of your payment data is governed by their own privacy policy and applicable card network rules.
Cookies
Our website may use minimal cookies or similar technologies necessary for the site to function and for aggregate traffic measurement. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work as expected if you do.
Children's privacy
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. School groups visiting the Gallery are coordinated through their teachers or chaperones. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your California privacy rights
California residents may request to know what personal information we hold about them, request correction or deletion of that information, and ask us to stop sending communications. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information below. We will not discriminate against you for making a request. As a nonprofit organization we do not sell personal information and do not engage in "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83 ("Shine the Light"), California residents may request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We make no such disclosures.
Data retention
We keep donation and contact records as long as needed for tax, accounting, and stewardship purposes, and as required by federal and California law.
